Sad Death
A gloom was cast over the Chesterfield community on Friday, Jan. 9th when Jessie Alexina McKenzie, passed away after a lingering illness of some months. She was in her 20th year and was a young woman of bright and happy disposition. Her place in the home and community will be greatly missed and the heartfelt sympathy of all goes out to the sorrowing mother, brothers and sisters.
The funeral service was conducted at the family residence on Sunday by the Rev. G. G. Pybus and internment took place at the Empress cemetery.

Strangely, the Saskatchewan Death Registry Index gives the date of death as 1920-Feb-18:
Saskatchewan Death Register #445
